Resident Evil is Capcom's survival horror franchise: Raccoon City, the Umbrella Corporation, T-virus outbreaks, and a small roster of cops, soldiers and spies who keep surviving things that should have killed them. Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris and Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, Albert Wesker, and more recently Ethan Winters and Lady Dimitrescu are the names that carry the fandom. The erotic pull is obvious once you say it out loud. Fear and arousal run on the same wiring. Two people barricaded in a safe room with one clip of ammo left are already touching, already breathing hard, already past the point of pretending they don't want comfort. Expect gunfire, blood, and dialogue that sounds like the games, with the sex written explicitly rather than faded to black.
