Resident Evil is Capcom's survival horror franchise: Raccoon City, the Umbrella Corporation, T-virus outbreaks, and a small roster of cops, soldiers and spies who keep surviving things that should have killed them. Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris and Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, Albert Wesker, and more recently Ethan Winters and Lady Dimitrescu are the names that carry the fandom.
