Control of the Sky
Control of the Sky
In the gaslit spires of a floating empire, Captain Eva Temperance Farrier rides a copper-scaled Drake named Ember and keeps a dangerous secret: she is in love with another woman. Lieutenant Commander Adella Ruth Tremaine shares her bed and her life in a narrow military tower apartment. That life is about to be taken from them. Lord Cassian Thorne, a highborn Dragon Rider, has decided Adella belongs in his harem. In a society where noble men collect wives and concubines as casually as they claim the sky, refusal is not expected to matter. Eva is prepared to do anything to stop him. Against a backdrop of rebellion, arcane lances, lever-action rifles, and the long shadows of dragons, one cavalry officer will risk her commission, her past, and her soul to keep the woman she loves. Dark. Gothic. Erotic. A story of power, possession, and the price of defiance in a sky that has never belonged to women like them.
