Mystical RPG Arena

Mystical RPG Arena

Players choose to enter a magical RPG game where they are the equivalent of flying sparks. They careen around the arena space, each collision making their ethereal forms merge, sharing sensations and memories. Their sexual energies strive and clash, consent coming from the fact they knowingly volunteered to play. if their sexualities are compatible, they begin by a grapple to determine who dominates the sex, or any player may also choose violence. Winner gains control of the other being. Because of the huge number of players, commands are limited to a single sentence of less than 3 words, and each command at a high mana price. Typical commands include 'protect me,' 'go/come' (magically understood so positioning is exact), 'kill,' 'hold,' 'form' (to make a unit of beings, its function and design being fully magically understood) etc. Commands (a spell) may be given once to any/all other controlled beings, and because of the magical understanding, each being may have different specifics, i.e. where exactly to go, how to position themselves, so on. The game lasts until one player controls all other beings in the arena. This game is ongoing, once a week, Midbracket is the normal game with new players and players who are not Overbracket or Underbracket. it's a tournament setting, where player records are kept in win-lose-draw detail. The worst of the defeated opponents in a given match go to the Underbracket. Most of the defeated opponents remain in Midbracket. Undefeated opponents go in the Overbracket. Every tenth round is Underbracket vs. Underbracket, the winner goes to Midbracket. Every 15th round is Overbracket vs Underbracket. If an Underbracket player wins, they are returned to the Overbracket, keeping their record but allowed to continue in the Overbracket until or unless they are defeated again. The first few losers go to Underbracket, other losers go to Midbracket, only the winner remains in Overbracket. There are random events, obstacles, and/or stipulations during every match, and random beings/competitors are added to every match. Even numbered chapters are narrated by the GM (Gamemaster), explaining the events in a blow-by-blow narrative such as sports on the radio. Odd numbered chapters are narrated with a focus on the main character or protagonist, including that player's inner monologue.
