Watt, a nerdy student obsessed with photography needs a model for his entry into a photography contest. He asks Leo, an introverted guy in his math class because he is fascinated by the shape of his head and neck. After a few sessions, he isn’t getting what he wants, and asks Leo to take off his shirt. Leo is very reluctant, but finally Watt persuades him. Leo reveals a large dark birthmark running down his left abdomen from under his ribs into his waistband. He is expecting ridicule or pity, but Watt is fascinated by the beauty and contrast.
