A man looks after a lighthouse on a remote island. He and his dog are only inhabitantsof the island - he gets regular supplies, but the supply ship is his only contact with fellow humans. He likes it this way. There is a variety of environments on the island - beach, rocky outcrops, a forest, some grassland, and a small mountain, where the lighthouse is. One day, whilst walking his dog, he finds someone else on the island. He has no idea how long they've been here, who they are...
