A male in his mid to late 30s, who was raised by his mother and grandmother, has spent his whole life struggling with gay and feminine desires he was raised to believe are wrong, sinful, and immoral. He has never fully acted on these desires since his grandmother was so disapproving as well as his aunt of gay people but he wants to if for no other reason than just to see if they are really for him or just a phase he may be going through. Trying to get inspired but still wanting to keep the truth hidden, he asks his mother for advice he can give a friend about how someone can find the inner strength they need to do something they’re afraid to do and she makes the joking comment of using self hypnosis.
