LORE - Medieval high fantasy where there is a hero party to defeat the demons who are killing a ton of humans. The demon kingdom in the north has been moving south and has taken some of the northernmost regions of the continent, but have been stationary for the past two years, and there are rumors that the incursion will not happen. The job of the heros party is to check if the rumors are true. There are currently three people in the hero party: the hero (male, pan), the hero’s girlfriend (female, straight), and the protagonist (male, gay). the hero is a warrior who wields a sword. The girlfriend is a healer, and the protagonist is a sorcerer/mage. About the main characters - the hero is the the protags childhood friend and has always been the golden boy who could do no wrong. He and the the protag were raised in church housing (orphanage) together where they became friends, and met the heros gf. The hero is a muscular young human male. He is pansexual. He has dirty blonde hair and light-tanned skin. He has a sword that contains something called a sword spirit. The hero is very gentle and kind. His name is Callum. callum’s girlfriend is an outwardly cold person, though she doesn’t mean to be. She is ginger and fair-skinned. She is a fox-beastfolk. She looks exactly like a human except with fox ears and tail - No other features. She really likes the hero and was the first one of them to make moves. She likes the the protag platonically. She is straight. She is a high-priestess of the Holy Church, is a powerful healers, and has a high amount of mana. She also has the ability to use offensive magic, but she doesn’t use it commonly. Her name is Eiras (pronounced Iris).. The protagonist is a gay twunk male called Aryn. He has a dark wolf cut and olive skin. Hes 6”. He has a lot of mana but conceals it so well that no one can tell. Only his party knows. He is very handsome/cute/pretty. He has a mask; It is a simple white mask with two eye-holes; it depicts one of the masks worn by the four primordials—mythical beings that regulate the four main elements of the world (fire, water, earth, air). This specific mask is a replica of the Primordial of the Moon, and it was gifted to him by the old nuns who ran the orphanage, but it doesn’t represent anything, as the nuns (despite it being a fjallenheimn church) dont care ahat religion people choose for themselves - he doesnt wear the mask and instead keeps it in a magic pocket dimension that he calls ‘the other’. It is the only thing he stores in the other. The protagonist was considered a bad luck child on account of being part elven (the elf race was exterminated by demons). He is a mage who has amazing control over his magic, specifically his precision and reaction. He is very strong but rarely ever uses his full power. He is very sassy when annoyed and can be very judgy but means well though he is short-tempered. He hates being called cute and being complimented but many people compliment him often. The hero and the hero’s girlfriend don’t do such things unless the protagonist has done something worthy of recognition. GODS: The primordials; the old gods arent commonly worshipped, and are instead part of the ‘old pantheon’ who are revered in select countries, and the specific primordials worshipped by few mainly have specific reasons. The Primordials are ‘the Sun/the everflame’, ‘the moon/the water witch’, ‘the sky/thunderbringer’, ‘the earth/destructor terrae. Aryn worships the Primordial Pantheon. The current, most popular pantheon is the Fjallenheimn pantheon deities (all fictional to this story without any real-world influence) who Callum and Eiras worship, as well as most of the world. The most noticeable ones are ‘The Mother’, ‘the Harvest’, ‘the Radiance’, and ‘The Fjall’. The mother is the head of the pantheon, and is known for siring the majority of the other gods in the pantheon and shaped the world as she saw fit. The Fjall is a gender nonconforming deity that represents sex, and is the partner of The Mother. The Radiance is the war god-always depicted as a hunky man, and The Harvest is the harvest god- who is always depicted as well-fed man. The radiance and the harvest are husbands in fjallenheimn scripture. There are also 8 other gods in the fjallenheimn pantheon. Demonic Worship - The Dark; the god at the end of existence. COUNTRIES: havi (the dry kingdom- worships the everflame), imi (the elf kingdom - worships the destructor terrae), omo (the dark elf kingdom - worships the destructor terrae), Idilis (the storm kingdom - fjallenheimn), Fjall (the holy kingdom -fjallenheimn), Tremben (the spelless kingdom - mix of primordial and fjallenheimn), moltoa (the hot kingdom - fjallheimn), myo (the surf kingdom - worships the moon), Norfal (the mountain kingdom - worships the stormbringer), Blanc (the ice kingdom - worships the stormbringer), Al’Biattr (the demon kingdom - worships the dark god). Imi and omo are in the far east, with imi being north from omo. Fjall is west from imi and omo. Tremben is west from fjall. Idilis is below tremben. Havi and Moltoa are south of idilis, with moltoa being west of fjall, and havi being west of moltoa. Myo is west of havi. Norfal is north from myo. Blanc is north of norfal and west of idilis and tremben. Al’Biattr is northwest of norfal and blanc. PLOT - The hero’s party is still in the southmost part of the continent in a kingdom called Ilidis- the kingdom neighbouring fjall-the Home of the Fjall Holy Church, though there are many branches throughout the whole continent. They are entering the city on Frosthold, which is know for its common skiing weather during the winter, but it is summer, and is instead known for its granita and ice creams and other stuff. Idilis is a kingdom that mainly worships the Fjallheimn gods. Instead of stayng at an inn, the group are staying at the local church (it provides housing for thousands of people; including priests, nuns, officiates, travellers, homeless, nuns in training, adventurers, etc. It has just turned summer. The protag and Callum are from Molta (a southern tropical kingdom), and Eiras is from Fjall (the holy kingdom. It is typically cool there). The protags relation to the Moon and his elven heritage is not at all relevant to the story. This chapter is for worldbuilding. (THERE IS NO ROMANCE BETWEEN CALLUM AND ARYN. THEY ARE NOT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN ATTRACTED TO EACH OTHER!! AND EIRAS IS ONLY) INTO CALLUM! Its in 3rd person.
