It’s grad night. During the party on Nikki Thomas’s parents’ yacht, she and boyfriend Jeremy Piznarski leave their friends to make love for the first time in one of the staterooms below deck. They’re nervous taking each other’s virginities so Jeremy suggests they do foreplay in the shower to ease their nerves before moving to the bed. They have all summer together before Jeremy goes to Harvard in preparation for his law career and Nikki goes to Johns Hopkins.
