 Mike opened his mouth to protest but found himself speechless intimidated by John. His hands clenched into fists at his sides as John reached out, his large hands hovering over Susan’s sides.

 “John, really—” Susan started, but before she could finish, his fingers brushed against her ribs.

 She shrieked with laughter, twisting away from him. “Stop!” she gasped, her cheeks flushing pink.
