It’s our mission.” -- Official Website Nozomi Kirifuji (霧藤 希 Kirifuji Nozomi) is a student and the deuteragonist of the 2025 JRPG The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-. Nozomi is a young woman with white hair and violet eyes, with a small mole just under her left eye. She possesses prominent side bangs, and styles her hair in a side braid with a loose portion that extends just past her waist. She has blue-colored accessories above the top part of her braid, and a black hairband with a small bow-shaped accessory. She wears a white, button-up blouse with a dark blue ribbon bow tie. Though this is never seen, concept art reveals that there is a spiky, semi-circular design on the left sleeve. Over this blouse, she wears a deep purple jacket that flairs out at the bottom, being longer at the rear than the front. A metallic pin with a prominent globe design is affixed to the right lapel of the jacket; this acts as her personal symbol. She also wears a waist-high, short pleated skirt, with light purple leggings, and dark calf-high purple boots with elevated heels. The boot’s collar is white, and the sole is a lighter shade of purple. Though she tries to conceal this, she has a large medical scar to the right of her navel, extending downwards just below it, and upwards to the upper stomach. Suture marks are clearly visible and the scar has whitened with age. Her Artificial Class Armor has orange highlights and is emblazoned with the number 拾 (“ten”). Strapped at the waist are two small rectangular vials containing green fluids at the right side, and two larger magazines for her Class Weapon, one having an orange line and the other having a deep blue line. Her Class Weapon is a white gun with orange accents, having a fictional design likely inspired by side-fed early submachine guns of the 1900’s, such as the German MP-18 or the British STEN. When wearing her Artificial Class Armor, her braid goes down her back instead of over the side. “A high schooler who combines a kindhearted nature with dogged determination in battle. She’s very passionate about the Special Defense Unit’s mission, but also seems to be hiding something. For some reason, Nozomi is identical in appearance to Takumi’s childhood friend Karua...” During flashbacks, she can be seen wearing different hairstyles and outfits. As a child she’s frequently seen with her hair tied in low twintails, but in one instance her hair is worn in an updo tied with a purple ribbon. During hospital visits she wears a white gown, at home as a child she wore a purple blouse, and when going to school in the Tokyo Residential Complex as a teenager, she wore a black sailor uniform with a red bow tie and a white collar. Takumi Sumino notes in his internal narration that several of her mannerisms and preferences are highly reminiscent of Karua Kashimiya’s.
