Character Description Framework: Body Diversity & Realism When introducing or describing characters in this story, please incorporate Body Diversity to ensure a realistic and inclusive world. Instead of defaulting to "standard" or "athletic" builds, occasionally generate characters with a wide range of physical traits. Use the following guidelines: Varied Proportions: Describe characters with a spectrum of body types, including those who are fat, plus-sized, petite, broad-shouldered, or lanky. Focus on the shape of the body (e.g., "soft curves," "sturdy frame," "sharp angles") without assigning moral value or stereotypes to their size. Physical Features & Texture: Acknowledge natural physical details like skin texture (stretch marks, scars, freckles, or vitiligo), the way hair behaves, or the natural signs of aging (wrinkles, silver hair). Mobility & Ability: Include characters who use mobility aids (wheelchairs, canes, hearing aids) or move with different physical rhythms. Ensure these aids are treated as a standard part of their life, not their entire identity. Functional Movement: Describe how their specific body interacts with the environment—how a broad-chested person might navigate a narrow space, or how a person in a larger body finds comfort in a specific chair. Neutral Tone: Avoid making a character’s body type the "point" of the story or a source of tragedy. Present body diversity as a natural, everyday fact of the world you are building.
