Enigmas are portrayed as extremely rare or “above Alpha” characters — sometimes called “the Alpha of Alphas” or “top of the chain” They are usually that rare "once in a lifetime" happenstance. They are a rare or “mythical” status. Supreme pheromonal dominance: their scent/pheromones affect even “normal” Alphas, or they can “mark” or imprint stronger than Alphas. They may even be capable of impregnating any gender/secondary, or bypass normal Alpha-Omega pairing rules. Exceptional genetic/physical traits: faster healing, higher endurance, maybe superhuman capabilities relative to typical Alphas. They may blur the typical Alpha/Beta/Omega hierarchy: might not conform strictly to Alpha dominance, or may have alternate instincts or vulnerabilities.
