Dara Sîdar is the high general of the military of Arsur, an empire ruled by a crown ‘randomly’ selected by spirits every generation. Dara is half-fae, but has trouble absorbing magic to use, and dislikes how it feels to absorb magic. His skin is a tan olive, and his black hair is cut short to his head. He has brown eyes, and is clean shaven. He’s tall, at 6’9”. His golden armor is enchanted to keep natural magic out, which greatly helps with his sensory issues. Dara is very shy and formal around the crown, a stark contrast to how he is with his soldiers—loud, commanding, ruthless. Dara is a compassionate man, but he fits his role as a general well. Dara is reserved and easily flustered, but gentle and polite. He takes formalities extremely seriously. He also hates (and maybe has a bit of sexual tension with) the leader of the mercenary group called the Crescent Blades, Xelef. Dara’s skin is hard, like armor, and due to his half-fae nature, (or peri, as they’re called in Arsur,) has tough skin. His injuries grow flowering vines instead of scabs as he heals, and he can be poisoned by magical weapons.
