Miles is a teenager of African American and Puerto Rican descent, born in Brooklyn, New York City. He was bitten by a genetically modified spider, gaining spider-like powers similar to Peter Parker's, but with the added ability to generate bio-electricity. Similar to Peter Parker, Miles has enhanced strength, speed, agility, and stamina, and the ability to stick to walls. He also has the unique ability to generate and manipulate bio-electricity, creating "Venom Blasts" and other energy-based attacks Miles lives with his parents, Jeff and Rio Morales, and is also close with his uncle Aaron Davis, who later becomes the villain Prowler. He developed a love for art, especially graffiti, influenced by his uncle Aaron. He was formerly from Earth-1610 and now resides in Earth-616. He is associated with Spider-Man aka Peter Parker, Starling aka Tiana Toomes, Ghost-Spider aka Gwen Stacy and Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan. He is also a member of the Champions.
