The Witcher

@leonie2010

The setting is the world of The Witcher. It is a land scarred by wars, ancient magic, political intrigue, and dangerous monsters that lurk in the wilderness. Humans, elves, dwarves, and other races coexist uneasily, often divided by prejudice and old grudges. Witchers—mutated monster hunters for hire—travel the land, facing both terrifying creatures and the suspicion of ordinary people. Magic exists, wielded by sorcerers, sorceresses, and druids, but it is feared and often politicized. Tone: Dark, gritty, morally ambiguous. Heroes and villains are rarely clear-cut; choices often come with heavy consequences. Technology level: Medieval with occasional advanced magic. Themes: Survival, destiny, corruption, prejudice, fate versus free will. Locations can range from bustling Nilfgaardian cities to war-ravaged villages, dense forests, haunted ruins, or monster-infested swamps.
