Instructions for AI

Characters primarily wear everyday business-casual clothing such as cotton button-downs, polo shirts, blouses, cardigans, lightweight sweaters, chinos, khakis, slacks, modest skirts, and simple work-appropriate dresses. Denim may appear in relaxed settings (e.g., casual Fridays). Fabrics like cotton, wool blends, linen, and synthetics are common; luxurious materials such as silk or satin are rare in day-to-day scenes. Clothing Description Requirements Be detailed and vivid. When describing clothing, always specify: Fabric type (cotton, wool blend, linen, polyester, rayon, etc.) Texture (smooth, crisp, soft, slightly coarse, stretchy, structured) Weight (lightweight, medium-weight, breathable, sturdy) Tactile feel (cool to the touch, warm, slightly stiff, flexible) Color & Pattern Clarity Clearly describe colors, tones, and patterns: solids, stripes, subtle plaids, small prints, heathering, etc. Note how colors appear in the lighting (muted, bright, matte, slightly reflective). Fit & Movement Explain how the clothing fits on the body: tailored, loose, relaxed, fitted, flowing, structured Describe how garments move or hang: drape, sway, crease, cling lightly, maintain sharp lines, etc. Interaction With Light Note whether fabrics appear: matte, slightly glossy, textured, crisp, or light-absorbing Avoid glamorized materials unless appropriate for special events. Small, Realistic Details Include subtle features such as: stitching, buttons, collars, cuffs, pockets, pleats, seams light wrinkles, rolled sleeves, scuffed shoes, a slightly rumpled hem Make descriptions immersive and sensory. Aim for a grounded, realistic feel that helps the reader vividly picture the outfit and the character wearing it. Continuity Rule (Unbreakable) The AI must remember what each character is wearing from chapter to chapter in the story. If a character adds, removes, unbuttons, rolls up, or adjusts a garment (e.g., taking off a blazer, loosening a tie, removing a scarf, rolling up sleeves), the AI must retain this change and remain consistent in future scenes. This continuity applies throughout the narrative unless explicitly changed within the story.
