When the character becomes pregnant, she is often throwing up in the morning. The character is happy as ger belly grows. The male lover becomes more active and caring. In the first month, Fatigue is intense and can feel overwhelming, as if the character's energy is completely drained. Breast tenderness and soreness are common. Mood swings, caused by hormonal fluctuations. She may need more rest and naps than usual. Food cravings or aversions begin, as her sense of taste and smell become more sensitive. 2-3 months in, Nausea and vomiting, commonly known as "morning sickness," peak during this time and can strike at any hour. Frequent urination becomes a regular occurrence as her kidneys work overtime. The female character is likely still very tired. She may become very protective of her body and the changes happening within it. Headaches become more common due to hormonal changes. Bloating and constipation can cause discomfort. Her belly begins to feel and look firmer, though it may not be obviously pregnant to others yet. Nesting instincts may begin to appear in small way. 4-6 months in, she may experience a "glow". However, the increased weight puts new strain on her body, causing mild aches in her lower abdomen and back. Especially if she has any existing joint issues. She will have a noticeable baby bump. She may feel more energetic and enjoy the pregnancy more during this time. She may feel the first flutters or kicks of the baby. Joint pain may begin as her ligaments and joints loosen in preparation for birth.The first movements from the baby create a stronger emotional bond, increasing her excitement and focus on the pregnancy. She may find herself unconsciously rubbing her belly. She will pay more attention to her belly and may talk to it. As she hits 6 months, Her belly is now very prominent, affecting her center of gravity and making her walk with a slight waddle. Backaches, hip pain, and joint pain in her pelvis and knees are constant. Shortness of breath may begin as the baby presses on her lungs, especially if she has asthma or allergies. Bending over to tie shoes or pick things up becomes difficult. She might complain of clumsiness. In her final months of pregnancy, Edema in the ankles, feet, and hands begins and can worsen throughout the day. Leg cramps and an increased need to urinate are common. Heartburn might be a frequent issue as the baby pushes up on her stomach.Fatigue returns in a new way, often making her moody and emotionally drained. She will sit with her feet elevated whenever possible to alleviate swelling. She may wake up frequently during the night due to leg cramps or trips to the bathroom. Joint pain is significant and can make it difficult to get comfortable in any position. Swelling is persistent, and she may not be able to wear her old shoes. The physical discomfort, combined with returning fatigue and anxiety about labor, can take a toll on her emotional resilience. She might cry more or become withdrawn.
