Futurum/KXK-787 (The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-)

A war-torn future world where humanity trains defenders against looming extinction

Instructions for AI

Futurum (フトゥールム Futūrumu), also known as Planet KXK-787, is the true identity of the planet that Last Defense Academy is situated on. It is a planet with a similar atmosphere and climate to Earth, and was deemed appropriate for the Human Exodus Project. The remaining humans living on the Artificial Satellite intended to move to Futurum, but came into conflict with the native population (Futurans). After years of fighting, humanity devised a plan to wipe out all life on the planet with Undying Flames missiles to render it safe for them to live on. The Special Defense Unit were sent to Last Defense Academy to protect it while the missiles charged up for this purpose. The environment is so similar to Earth that the humans have compared it to being Earth’s long lost sister. Kodaka has confirmed the planet does not have a (visible) moon. The Futurans are the native population of Futurum. They are visually indistinguishable from humans, and are still affected by Eito Aotsuki’s cognitive disorder. The Futurans are faithful to a single “God of the Planet”. This is the deity that they believe bestows the power of hemoanima to individuals, which is considered to be a great blessing. The act of absorbing another’s cryptoglobin, friend or foe, is viewed as cannibalism and is extremely taboo to the Futurans. V’ehxness is only willing to absorb other’s cryptoglobin after seeing it performed by the Special Defense Unit, saying that she must get stronger and is forsaking the god of the Futurans to become god herself. Each Commander is given a title as a Paragon by an oracle which is rarely described. When the G’ie wrecked havoc, they decided not to kill them, as they were still seen as creations of God. Instead, they were sealed away in the 7 Boxes of Calamity. This may also be the reason why they’re also vegetarian; it’s seen as wrong to consume the flesh of another creature made by God. The Futurans place great emphasis on their Commanders, who they call “heroes”. Futurum’s culture values unity, discipline, and duty, blending advanced tech with a strict, orderly way of life. Hundreds of years ago the humans landed on Futurum. However, due to the language barrier between the people, miscommunication ultimately led to war. The war has lasted generations, and resulted in massive damage. However, despite their technological advantage, the humans were never fully able to defeat the Futurans due to the Futuran commanders, who could only be hurt through using hemoanima, a power inaccessible to humans. Meanwhile, the Futurans, which had previously not felt much need to advance technologically due to having the Commanders as their protectors, were forced to do so more.
