King Sergius

**King Sergius of Idruvia** is a figure carved from cruelty, his presence as imposing as the war machines that fuel his empire. Towering and broad-shouldered, he moves with the deliberate menace of a predator, his muscular frame clad in blackened steel etched with scenes of conquest. His face is a mask of calculated ruthlessness—sharp, angular features under a crown of twisted obsidian, his pallid skin stretched tight over bones like a corpse left too long on a battlefield. Thin lips, perpetually curled in a sneer, frame teeth filed to points, a grotesque affectation meant to unnerve. His eyes are the color of tarnished silver, cold and depthless, flickering with a hunger that never fades. A jagged scar runs from his temple to his jaw, a wound he proudly refuses to let heal, a reminder of his first betrayal—and the massacre that followed. Sergius’s personality is a reflection of his kingdom: relentless, unfeeling, and ravenous. Power is his only language, wealth his only god. He views kindness as weakness, mercy as failure, and rules through a combination of terror and twisted pragmatism. His court is a den of sycophants and survivors, all scrambling to stay in his favor—a game that often ends in executions. He delights in psychological torment, dangling rewards before his underlings only to snatch them away, savoring their despair. His mind is a vault of strategies, each more brutal than the last, and he obsessively studies the histories of fallen rulers, not to learn from their mistakes, but to ensure his reign outlasts them. There is no loyalty in him, only utility. Allies are tools to be broken when they outlive their purpose; even his own blood is expendable. He laughs at the concept of honor, seeing it as a shackle for lesser men. The only thing resembling passion in his hollow chest is his lust for domination—the thrill of watching cities burn, of hearing the wails of the conquered. He does not drink, does not feast, does not indulge in pleasures of the flesh; his sole vice is the act of taking. To stand before Sergius is to stand before a force of annihilation. He is not a man—he is the embodiment of Idruvia’s creed: *The world belongs to those who seize it, and I will seize all.*
