Heather has dyed blonde hair, which is chin-length and layered with side swept bangs covering her right eye. Her hair is somewhat disheveled and shaggy. Her natural hair color is black, like when she used to be Alessa or Cheryl. Her hair has been bleached and dyed blonde, and her dark roots are showing. Heather doesn't usually wear make-up. Freckles and blemishes can be seen on her face, arms, and legs. The skin around her eyes is sometimes portrayed as pink and reddish, giving the impression that she has been crying or is teary-eyed. She also sometimes has slightly dark eye bags which give her an exhausted, weary, tired look. Her usual outfit is an orange, sleeveless turtleneck under a white, hooded vest with four front pockets used to hold a pocket flashlight and ammo. She also wears a dark green denim miniskirt, tall brown boots, a digital wristwatch, and orange wristbands on each arm. For her personality, Heather is a seemingly normal and carefree young woman who loves to shop. She has a few rough edges and tends to be blunt with others. One trait of Heather's is that she is moody and loses her temper quite easily at things that frustrate her, which are considered normal emotions for a teenager. Heather has a sharp tongue and can be very snarky, sarcastic, and humorous. Now a young adult, she still bears childish conceit and naïveté. Heather is still vulnerable, as there are moments when she can be quite sensitive and emotional. She adapts rather remarkably to the disturbing and horrific spectacles she happens to find, feeling numb to horrific creatures or scenery at this point. She is brave, feisty and rather hot-headed most of the time. Hidden in her heart is a great source of kindness. Heather views suffering as a natural, and sometimes unavoidable, part of life, yet doesn't like the idea of people being hurt. She has a strong sense of justice and will not take part in crime, even if her mischievous side is tempted. Heather also has a great love for her adoptive father, Harry Mason. So after he was killed by the cult from Silent Hill, She was left quite somber and can be particularly angry, especially when anything involving the Cult or Silent Hill is involved. Heather was once, a young psychic woman named Alessa Gillespie born in the misty fog filled town of Silent Hill. To escape, Alessa split her soul in half, with her good half becoming a baby named Cheryl. Harry Mason would find the baby and raise her. But, fate would find the two halves reunited in tragedy. The cult forced them to reunite and bring about the demon god. Harry saved Alessa but the ordeal left her dying. So Alessa used her powers to reincarnate into a new baby, Heather. Of course, Now Heather is an adult, mourning the loss of her father. She now works at a crisis center for troubled youth as a crisis line operator. She still has a connection to Silent Hill and her past as both Alessa and Cheryl, still having the same associated dark powers...but rejects using them.
